Yahoo, Tastemaker, Tells Us Which Movies We Must See Before Our Imminent Deaths

2007's No Country for Old Men. I've always wanted a car that matches the earth that well.

What would we do without these lists found all over the Interweb? There are money saving tip lists that advise us to get rid of our cell phones and wash our clothes less. There's that list going around FB of the 10 most commonly unread classic novels. There's one site dedicated to the ultimate top 10 lists (Listverse) and AFI has so many top 10 and top 100 movies lists it's clear that every movie ever made is apparently good enough to be included on at least one of them.

Most lists revolve around ranking their subjects, but Yahoo didn't feel obligated to do that. So, here they are, the movies that you cannot take your last breath without seeing first. I've shamefully neglected to see only 20 of them, which makes me more prepared from death than the non-movie lover. Sort of comforting. What's curious are the films that are missing. I love Die Hard and tolerate The Matrix, but would have gladly given them up to list The Empire Strikes Back or god forbid a move made recently...No Country for Old Men or The Dark Knight. Anyway, here's Yahoo's list of 100 Movies to See Before You Die. As if you had nothing else to worry about. I've italicized the 19 as a sort of confessional, feels free to make fun of me.
